Growing up in Ft. Worth, Texas, Paul Tietjen never thought he would spend most of his days playing music out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. For the past 15 years he has used his singer/songwriter gifts with the band 100 White Flags. Occasionally, Paul also plays solo gigs or has been called to help out other groups on stage. When he was 9 he got his first guitar and ever since then he has been standing at the crossroads of blues and rock. When you listen to his performances, that’s the corner you’ll find yourself on.
Dr. T is a modern worship guitarist who also has been known to play bass and mandolin with various artists. He mostly draws his influences from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Audio Adrenaline, Keith Urban, and Kenny Wayne Sheppard.
His hard work and musical energy has landed him on stage with Jonathan Cain (of Journey), Second Adam, Lynn Stoneking, and Echelon to name a few.
Currently Dr. T plays modern worship, youth gatherings, and festivals. He started a podcast in 2020 known as: “The Tweed Couch Guitar Therapy Session” as a way to keep in touch and talk gear with his musical network of friends.
